Marian Catholic High School is pleased to announce the appointment of Brian Sebring as its new Director of Facilities. Brian will begin his role on Monday, March 30, 2026.

Brian brings a strong background in facility management, maintenance operations, and safety compliance. He currently serves as Maintenance Director at St. Michael the Archangel School in Coopersburg, where he oversees multiple school facilities, coordinates repairs and capital improvements, and implements preventative maintenance programs to ensure safe and efficient operations. His hands-on experience in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and building systems—combined with his work in educational and institutional settings—positions him well to support the needs of the Marian Catholic community.

Brian holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from DeSales University and has demonstrated a consistent commitment to maintaining high-quality, safe, and welcoming environments for students and staff.

“Brian’s experience and leadership in facilities management will be a tremendous asset to Marian Catholic,” said Fr. Robert Finlan, Principal. “At the same time, we are deeply grateful to Jim Barron for his many years of dedicated service. Jim’s steady commitment and behind-the-scenes efforts have helped ensure that our school has always been a safe and well-maintained environment. We wish him all the best in a well-deserved retirement.”

Jim Sauka ’66, Facilities Chairman, also shared his enthusiasm for the transition. “We are excited to welcome Brian to Marian Catholic. His depth of experience and proactive approach to facility operations will help us continue to care for and improve our campus. We also extend our sincere thanks to Jim Barron, whose dedication and hard work over the years have left a lasting impact on our school community.”

Marian Catholic High School extends a warm welcome to Brian and invites the community to join in wishing Jim Barron many years of good health and happiness in retirement.

Since opening its doors in 1954, Marian Catholic High School has graduated more than 8,000 students, now living in all 50 states and abroad. The school proudly honors the legacies of its predecessor institutions—Saint Ann’s High School (Lansford), Saint Mary’s High School (Coaldale), Saint Jerome’s High School (Tamaqua), and Mauch Chunk Catholic High School (Jim Thorpe).

Today, that legacy of faith, learning, and community extends to the alumni of Bishop Hafey High School and Cardinal Brennan High School. While those school buildings may no longer be open, their spirit and values endure through Marian’s ongoing mission. All graduates from these institutions are warmly welcomed as part of the Marian family.
