Marian Catholic High School is proud to announce the installation of two new entrance signs along Marian Avenue, further enhancing the visibility and welcoming presence of its 40 acre campus. The signs, made possible through the generosity of an anonymous alumnus, mark another meaningful step in the school’s ongoing efforts to beautify and strengthen its campus environment.

Positioned at key points along Marian Avenue, the new signage prominently identifies the campus as Marian Catholic High School, offering a polished and lasting first impression to students, families, alumni, and visitors.

Father Robert Finlan ’86 CBHS, Principal of Marian Catholic, expressed his gratitude for the thoughtful contribution. “These new entrance signs provide a strong and lasting sense of arrival to our campus,” he said. “We are deeply grateful to this generous alumnus for continuing to invest in Marian’s future and helping us present our school with pride.”

The entrance signs build upon recent campus enhancements funded by the same donor, including the installation of colorful pole banners and benches in 2025. Together, these improvements reflect a shared commitment to creating a welcoming, attractive, and inspiring environment for the entire Marian community.

“These enhancements are about more than aesthetics—they are about pride, identity, and the experience of everyone who comes to Marian,” Father Finlan added. “We are fortunate to have alumni who care so deeply about our school and its future.”

Marian Catholic High School remains committed to ongoing campus improvements as part of its broader vision to provide an exceptional educational experience rooted in faith, tradition, and community.

Since opening its doors in 1954, Marian Catholic High School has graduated more than 8,000 students, now living in all 50 states and abroad. The school proudly honors the legacies of its predecessor institutions—Saint Ann’s High School (Lansford), Saint Mary’s High School (Coaldale), Saint Jerome’s High School (Tamaqua), and Mauch Chunk Catholic High School (Jim Thorpe).

Today, that legacy of faith, learning, and community extends to the alumni of Bishop Hafey High School and Cardinal Brennan High School. While those school buildings may no longer be open, their spirit and values endure through Marian’s ongoing mission. All graduates from these institutions are warmly welcomed as part of the Marian family.
