The 1954 Legacy Society (Planned Giving)

The 1954 Legacy Society

The 1954 Legacy Society recognizes alumni, parents, friends and trustees who have created a legacy by naming Marian Catholic High School as a beneficiary in their estate plans through a will, trust, retirement plan designation, life insurance, charitable gift annuity, or other type of a future gift.

Members of the 1954 Legacy Society believe in the mission of Marian Catholic High School and want to honor, Mary, Our Mother, and our school as her namesake, through a planned gift, ultimately ensuring the preservation of Catholic education opportunities in our community.

The society is named in honor of 1954 which Pope Pius XII declared the first “Marian Year” in the history of the Catholic Church. The year was meant to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the definition of the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary. That year a new high school was named in honor of our Blessed Mother with the consolidation of St. Jerome’s High School, St. Ann’s High School and St. Mary’s High School, opening its doors as Marian High School in August 1954.

We would be delighted to welcome you as our newest member of The 1954 Legacy Society. If you have included MCHS in your legacy plans, we would like to thank you and recognize you.
