Principal
The Office of Principal has as its primary purpose to provide overall leadership to achieve the fullest attainment of Marian Catholic High School's critical mission. The Principal is appointed and is delegated authority by the Bishop of the Diocese of Allentown, reports to the Board of Directors and Superintendent of Catholic Education, and acts as the chief executive, operating, and advancement officer for the school. The Principal is responsible for the integration of faith and culture within the school, successful academic programs, and robust student affairs programs. He/she coordinates and manages the program of supervision, observation, and evaluation of the faculty, instructional programs, and the guidance and counseling program.
Additionally, the Principal bears ultimate responsibility for the external affairs of the school to include ensuring sufficient resources, sound fiscal management, long-term financial stability, and plant improvements through direct oversight of business affairs, plant operations, and advancement programs. The Principal ensures the successful day-to-day operation of the school as accomplished through effective delegation of responsibilities to the administrators, faculty, coaches, and staff.
The candidates we seek will understand their role in fostering a vibrant Catholic school culture and have experience leading academically rigorous curriculums and co-curricular activities. Additionally, the successful candidate will have demonstrated capacity and comfort in addressing the challenges facing most Catholic schools, specifically in mission-critical areas related to business, finance, enrollment management, and advancement initiatives.
He/she will possess a Principal K-12 certification, as well as a minimum of five years teaching and five years of administration experience, preferably in a Catholic college preparatory environment. Advanced degree in an education-related field expected.

Mathematics and College Preparatory Assessments Teacher (2025-2026)

Job Status: Full-time
Reporting Functions: Reports to the Director of Studies and Head of School
Job Function: The Mathematics Teacher (Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Trigonometry, and SAT Preparation) actively instructs students, creates lesson plans, assigns and grades homework, manages students in the classroom, communicates with families, and helps prepare students for tests.

Maintenance Manager
Position opening July 1, 2025
Job Status: Full Time
Reporting Functions: Dean of Students
Job Function: The Maintenance Manager is an experienced multi-trade coordinator who leads, motivates, and manages the custodial team. The Maintenance Manager is the primary source regarding the installation, maintenance, and repair of Marian Catholic’s facilities. Provides technical and budget support for project planning and upkeep of Marian Catholic’s facilities. The Maintenance Manager is also the responsible for the upkeep of school grounds, including but not limited to lawn-mowing, landscaping, preparation of athletic fields, and snow removal in the winter.
