APPRECIATED SECURITIES
Make a bigger impact by donating long-term appreciated securities, including stock, bonds, and mutual funds, directly to Marian Catholic. Compared with donating cash or selling your appreciated securities and contributing the after-tax proceeds, you may be able to automatically increase your gift and your tax deduction. DONOR ADVISED FUNDS
A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a centralized charitable account. It allows charitably inclined individuals, families and businesses to make tax-deductible charitable donations of cash, publicly traded stock and in some cases, certain illiquid assets, to a qualified 501(c)3 charity. To use your donor advised fund to make a gift to Marian Catholic High School you should communicate with your fund administrator to generate the gift and to understand any quarterly or end of year distribution restrictions/deadlines they may have.
PA TAX CREDIT PROGRAM (SPE, EITC, OSTC)
Through the PA Tax Credit Program (SPE, EITC, OSTC), businesses and individuals (who become part of a Special Purpose Entity) can redirect their Pennsylvania tax dollars to help provide academic scholarships for qualified students.

Taking advantage of the matching gift programs is a great way to maximize your charitable donations.
