Graduates of Marian Catholic High School leave equipped with the spiritual, intellectual, and moral foundation needed to make meaningful contributions to society. They embody the values of the Catholic faith and are prepared to navigate the complexities of life with integrity, confidence, and a deep sense of purpose. The following qualities define them:

 

Spiritual and Moral Foundation

  • Gospel Teachings: Our graduates live by the teachings of the Gospel, actively embodying Christ’s message of love, compassion, and justice. They show respect for the dignity of all people and demonstrate care for all of God’s creations through responsible stewardship and service.

  • Identity in Faith: Confident in their identity as children of God, graduates understand and trust in God’s unwavering love and grace. This assurance empowers them to live with hope, joy, and resilience, regardless of life’s challenges.

 

Global Citizenship

  • Community Engagement: Our graduates are informed and conscientious members of the global community. They are committed to promoting justice, equality, and peace, and they take responsibility for their role in addressing social, economic, and environmental challenges.

  • Service and Stewardship: With 5,920 hours of collective service in surrounding communities, graduates demonstrate their commitment to service-oriented lifestyles.

 

Academic Excellence

  • Intellectual Curiosity: Driven by intellectual curiosity, our graduates value education as a lifelong pursuit. They approach learning with a spirit of inquiry and demonstrate both academic integrity and a commitment to personal growth.

  • Academic Achievements: The most recent class of 2024 saw 27% of students graduate with high academic honors (GPA of 3.5 or higher). 95% of graduates choose to continue onto higher education, including 76% pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher.

  • Postsecondary Opportunities: The class of 2024 was offered over $16.5 million in scholarships and accepted over $3.9 million in scholarships to post-secondary institutions.

 

Communication and Expression

  • Effective Communication: Our graduates express their ideas clearly and respectfully, whether through speaking, writing, reading, or listening. They engage in thoughtful dialogue, appreciating diverse perspectives, and contribute meaningfully to both academic and personal conversations.

  • Creative Appreciation: Graduates recognize and appreciate the beauty and creativity inherent in the fine arts. They understand the power of the arts to express human emotion, culture, and faith, and they value creativity as an essential aspect of the human experience.

  • Holistic Health: Our graduates are equipped with knowledge and skills to promote their physical, mental, and spiritual health. They make wise choices that enhance their well-being and understand the importance of balance and self-care.

  • Ethical Use of Technology: Graduates are responsible digital citizens who use technology ethically and wisely. They understand the power of technology to both build up and tear down communities, and they use it to connect, learn, and create in ways that respect privacy, promote truth, and protect human dignity.

  • Confident and Compassionate Leaders: Graduates are confident in their abilities and believe in their capacity to make a positive impact. Through leadership and service, they inspire others, foster collaboration, and work to create inclusive, compassionate communities where everyone can thrive.
