Pre-College Dual Enrollment
LEHIGH CARBON COMMUNITY COLLEGE
The partnership between Lehigh Carbon Community College and Marian Catholic High School provides students the opportunity to earn college credits while completing their high school education. This program helps students get a head start on their college journey, save time and tuition costs, and experience the expectations of college-level coursework. Dual enrollment also strengthens academic skills, boosts confidence, and provides a smoother transition from high school to college or career pathways. By participating in dual enrollment, students can expand their educational opportunities and gain a competitive advantage for their future goals.
JOHNSON COLEGE OF TECHNOLOGY (Trade School)
Johnson College’s Industry Fast-Track Program offers a unique pathway for students to develop in-demand skills through specially
designed, hands-on learning experiences in trade and technical fields at the college level. This program allows students to
graduate with a certificate in their chosen trade while simultaneously earning their high school diploma.Below is a link
to general information about the Industry Fast-Track Program—including details on cost, eligibility, program of interest,
and more. Students may take a combination of online and in-person courses as they progress through the program. If a student chooses in-person classes during the regular academic day, transportation is the family's responsibility. Campus tours are
available and highly encouraged before applying. Jack Lawless, the Dual Enrollment Coordinator at Johnson College, is happy to
meet with families to discuss the benefits of dual enrollment. He can be reached at 570-702-8949 or jlawless@johnson.edu.
