Our community service-oriented Marian Cares Project
begins on Monday December 7, 2020.
Marian Catholic High School will be supporting the local food banks located
within the areas that our school community draws from. Throughout this year, many
more families have been utilizing local food banks, creating a tremendous
need for these organizations to resupply and restock their shelves.
The MCHS Campus Ministry Office has converted a part of their office
area into food collection center. Students are asked to donate various food
and hygiene items throughout the year. In return, the Marian Cares Project
will replenish the local food banks with much-needed food and items.
Students can find a list of needed items on the Service Board outside of
Mrs Matunis' room. Donations can be brought to Room B-3 and service hours
will be credited. In addition, Mrs. Matunis is looking for students who would
like to put in extra volunteer time in the foodcollection center.
Any questions, please see Mrs Matunis or email mmatunis@mariancatholichs.org.
