Updated: Sep 28, 2020

Marian Catholic Spirit Week!

September 28 through October 2

Our Student Council has planned an AMAZING Spirit Week full of fun activities starting Monday, September 28 through October 2! We have planned many fun events and special dress days. To make this special week most successful, school participation is needed. Events for the week include a Powder Puff Game, Volleyball Tournament, Bonfire, and Homecoming Activities.

Monday, September 28: We kick off Spirit Week by honoring America with a fun dress down day. Wear as much red, white, and blue as you can to celebrate our country!

Please follow the dress code guidelines in the Student Handbook.

Tuesday, September 29: Cozy Day! Students may wear sweatpants and sweatshirts

(no slippers or sandals allowed). Our Volleyball Tournament will take place in the gym during school and be live-streamed in the classrooms. The teams will consist of all boys coached by the girls. Interested students should submit their team name and members to Ms. Bechtel or any Student Council Representative.

Wednesday, September 30: Begins with a Mass. Our theme is College Shirt Day!

Wear the shirt of your favorite college or university with uniform bottoms.

Thursday, October 1: Class Color Shirt Day! Seniors should wear Black, Juniors white, Sophomores Blue, Freshmen Gold, and Faculty/Staff Grey. A Powder Puff game will be held during school, weather permitting. Each class will have their own team.

The Freshman Team will play the Junior Team, and the Sophomore Team will play the Senior Team. The winners will face off in a Championship. Girls should sign up with their Student Council Representatives to join the team. Boys are needed to be Cheerleaders and Coaches for their team. On Thursday night, food trucks will be in the parking lot! Dine on delicious Pancho's Mexican Food! Join us across the street next to the Softball field for a bonfire at 7:15pm after the 6pm Varsity Volleyball game for a great night!

On Friday, October 2: We celebrate Homecoming! Starting at 1:00pm, we will have a Pep Rally at the Stadium. The Fall Sport Athletes will be introduced, the Band and Cheerleaders will perform, and Homecoming will take place. This will also be a Crazy Blue and Gold Day, so students should wear as much blue and gold as they can to show support for our school!

The Student Council is looking forward to making this year’s Spirit Week 2020 a success! Please see the flyers posted in homerooms for more information. If you have any questions, see any Student Council Member.
